But many of the reporters on both of those news organizations' politics desks are horrendous, and suck up to fascists. The New York Times' politics desk and opinion section are both catastrophically bad (far worse than they ever have been) and are doing more to bring down America than Fox News is.

How is this not grounds for immediately firing Lewis? I guess maybe Bezos like the idea of having things run by someone with the instinct to spike stories that reflect poorly on people in the chain of command...
