The United Methodist General Conference was a success for removing discriminatory language from our polity. But was a failure for addressing the ordination issues within the US context specific to local licensed pastors. We were so focused we forgot about everyone else.

So these college students are being arrested and thrown off campus. These kids are the ones who will determine police budgets and policies going forward. This will also harden their politics.

It will interesting fundraising for the campuses with the protest. The ultra wealthy will withhold for influence over behaviors and regular alumna will not contribute on principle over the matter. It's almost like this is planned.

There is something very wrong with the battery packs and the roll cages of Teslas. Yet congress, addicted to his money, refuses to do anything about it. Elon should be moved far away from daily operations and his shares diluted so a new CEO could fix things. But congress is useless right now.

HBCUs also serve White students as well, especially poorer students. Quiet as it's kept there are ethnically White people for whom an HBCU is the right choice. This is the White wealthy trying to erase Black culture.

Most people in the province don't care as much as the rural conservatives. It's a global human phenomenon. The rural population thinks leaving the country or revolution will solve problems in their communities.

I think it's fear too. But their fear is driving people to stay home or not care. Biden's Israeli policies have place the country in a moral bind. I don't want choose between genocide and dictatorship. That's a horrible choice.
