It just kinda illustrates this weird tension I always feel with legal stuff, where on the one hand there is this very rules based and formal aspect to it where people stress over definitions and statutes, but at the margins that very quickly seems to devolve into hand wavy "oh it's tradition" shit.

It's pretty clear from the constitution that there is a bunch of "legal" stuff they expect you to know like for example talking about "a writ of habeas corpus" means they expect you should understand what a writ is, and like what habeas corpus is, and where you get one, and what it does.

Like I assume the answer is "well that's how like other courts at the time did it" and it went on from there I assume there is a historical continuity to all this, but I'm kinda curious if there is any specific place where these rules get set out or if it's all kinda implicit / from law school.

so this is like an idle curiosity, but like is there a document or like thing which explains how a court is supposed to work. Like article 3 of the constitution just says "we are gonna have a court and it's gonna have this jurisdiction." And that's pretty much it.

and like I'd ask people for help and they would just say "oh yeah I just email them and then we work it out, sometimes they ignore me, but after a while people get back to me." Which just left me feeling more like a crazy person anyways I was just thinking about this.

Anyways that kinda thing is basically the worst kinda response to me. I really hate no response, I would have much rather heard "oh yeah we saw your email and listened to your tracks and we think you suck" cause like at least then I would know what I was supposed to do.

For those who don't know me on here I used to play music, people would say I was pretty good at it sometimes. I think I could put on a pretty good live show. Probably the weirdest phenomenon from that whole thing is that nobody would ever respond to me if I emailed them trying to book a show.

during today's dog walk I got bird attacked. I saw a lil bird on the street at a distance, I was worried that it was a bird that had bonked it's head and I wanted to get it out of the street. Unfortunately when I got closer it turns out it was a lil baby bird, and the mama bird was on defense.

by kinda like this i mean there are aspects of this house I mean if money was no object I would probably not live in a house that is exactly like this one, but I might have a lot of the kinds of things in here that people object to, like big stone walls or metal countertops.

I think what you will see is the cheap shit has a bunch of computers that exist to nickle and dime you. Then there is a step up that has a lot of the computer shit stripped out, but the highest luxury stuff will have a bunch of computer shit that lets you summon up services.

To be clear like I mean what they actually do and what actual powers they have, not like "oh they coordinate strategy" or whatever cause like what does "coordinate strategy" mean specifically. This doesn't mean I dont think they do anything it just means I dont know what exactly it is they do.
