I think the thing for me is one guy is genuinely very elderly and losing it a bit, but has pretty good staff in a bunch of areas, tho admittedly not all areas I care about. And the other guy is a fascist who wants to install 4chan to run DOD, DOE, and DOJ. So it's not like it's a /hard/ decision
I always want to think that an easy, convincing argument is if a person wants a job to destroy the company that would hire them, don't hire them.
If a person wants to improve it and increase participation and foster respect for the company by custimers and partners, hire them.
But, politics...
I think Biden is probably reserving his mental and physical energy for governing, which is the prudent choice, but he probably ought to make a different tradeoff for the week of the debate that he himself volunteered for.
Do you think we don’t get that? This has been the entire Biden campaign. “Yes, I am a walking corpse, but Trump is bad. Now watch me tear this Palestinian child apart like a slow zombie from a cheap TV show”
It’s not working.
Given the choice between (1) someone who was literally in a coma or (2) someone who seems more vigorous but is actively trying to re-create the Nazi regime, I would choose 1, but maybe I’m just some anti-fascism weirdo
Tbh I think that is an OK case and I'd love to see his cabinet (esp Austin, Yellen, Raimondo, Granholm) out and talking about what an awesome job they are doing. They're ballers! People should see that!
It’s not. But I’m not worried about the people who are paying attention to what has actually happened in each presidency. I’m worried about the huge percentage of American people who do not know that.
