The argument is that some of the evidence comes from when he was in the White House, and was official acts, and therefore shouldn't have been evidence based on the Court's decision yesterday. Pretty poor argument, but his team has to make it and it has to be addressed.

The fact that Merchan is giving so much additional time for this stupid farce to play out (and which should, at most, take 30 seconds to decide) shows that our judiciary is not up to the task of calling SCOTUS' bullshit.

I mean they can argue it all the way to this Supreme Court. Poor argument hasn't seemed to be a problem with this court yet. 🤷
