I think reading a transcript of the debate would hopefully help? His answers were very clearly not gibberish, it's just he had a hard time being heard and occasionally would mix up words but then immediately correct.

No, it does not help. And why would it? You have to see his face to get that he is struggling to remember what he was saying.
