Personally, my experience has been that it's never been better? I can play any retro classic or modern mainline game (there are many) with rollback netcode and play in bracket any day of the week. Most new entries are surprisingly well balanced and have various modern niceties, it's great!!

Did you know that Chunsoft took its name from the main character of a pre-Chunsoft game made by its founder, Koichi Nakamura? And that this game, Door Door, was developed for a contest held by Enix to find programmers and games worth investing in? Even better: the game itself is still great fun.

His offense requires you to keep things pretty varied and "busy" in a way that might seem a little annoying if you always want the best reward, but I feel like his buttons are so privileged in terms of shape and active frames that your defense is really simple to execute, which is nice.

I probably would've stayed out longer, but my guide took a pretty bad spill early on and that set the tone for things to come. The heat was definitely an issue; there was no wind or shade when trekking through the burn, and it honestly wasn't much better higher up.

Klax is a falling block match three puzzler from 1990, featuring 100 challenge-based levels. It's one of Atari Games' finest outings, and while it was ported to basically everything in existence for a good decade or so, nowadays, Warner Bros. Interactive mostly seems to have forgotten it exists.
