I have no idea where my birth certificate is. And for naturalized citizens a birth certificate would not be proof.

Not every citizen was born in the US. Myself included. I’ve been a US citizen since 1968. The last time I needed to access my naturalization certificate was about that same time. Replacement cost for cert is several 100$, & replacement request form asks for info that I need [missing] cert to provide

We asked whether they could access it easily, in order to register. A lot of folks are like me -- I'm _pretty sure_ my birth certificate is in my parent's safety deposit box, 3,000 miles away from me!
