Dass nur 13% der Unions & FDP-Wähler bereit wären für den Erhalt unserer Lebensgrundlagen auf einen Teil ihres Wohlstands zu verzichten ist so ein Armutszeugnis. Wir leben in 🇩🇪 im Überfluss & diese Leute kriegen auf Kosten der Nachwelt den Mund nicht voll. Dieser Egoismus ist völlig unverständlich.

It is hardly understandable because the EPL paper is by far much more accessible than the paper in the World Scientific publisher's book. I suspect that the authors simply copied the reference instead of actually owning it (and even not having read it).

Really strange: Since a few months, many papers cite the reprint Eckmann et al: Recurrence Plots of Dynamical Systems, In: Turbulence, Strange Attractors and Chaos, World Scientific, Singapore, 1995 instead of the original work Eckmann et al: Recurrence Plots of Dynamical Systems, EPL 1987

Interesting study using recurrence plots investigated multiple transitions from wet to dry periods in Africa: "Together with events of extreme wetness at the end of the transition, these droughts form a pronounced climate “flickering”.."
