Idk what it is about modern Mascot Horror but it feels like it's ashamed to call itself horror. When FNAF came out it delved into the uncanny aspect of animetronics. It didn't try to hide its horror elements. Now, all Mascot horror feels like it's buried so they can market toys to kids.
