Truth. We have to vote for him now that it's between him or the death of democracy but there's absolutely nothing saying we have to like him, like the situation, or not be mad as hell at him and anyone saying so needs to kick rocks. He sucks. It's just the other choice sucks so much worse.

Empathy with your mother. It took me ten years to get diagnosed with ME/CFS, only had it come through a few years ago even though my symptoms were consistent throughout.

Getting boosted tomorrow! Exciting times!! Had to explain to the doc that I'm already suffering from like-Long COVID so with a summer full of sick people (check out that wastewater!), our whole family needs every layer of protection we can get. Thankfully they listened and understood.

Communications tip: don't say "Project 2025" say "Trump's Project 2025." He's trying to run away from it, tie it to his neck like an anchor by making the words "Project 2025" naturally follow the word "Trump" in people's heads.

Nearly got in a head-on collision today b/c the drivers here are assholes who run red lights ALL THE TIME. I always wait 3-5 seconds after my light turns green before I go&STILL barely slammed on the brakes on time because today's asshat was egregiously running her red. I wish bad things on her.

Neighborhood border collie stopped to get pets from me and then decided WE SHALL PLAY!!! So we played with the dead leaf she brought me, and she refused to leave. Her mom asked me if I'd dogsit sometime. I now feel rather well established as the neighborhood dog lady.

Oh that's a great point, Eve. Sometimes my forgetting is caused not by memory loss but by the fact that I feel ok to do it in the moment. Then afterwards am I hit with the sledgehammers of pain and fatigue, for days or worse. So it's harder to judge because the body isn't giving correct signals

I started speedrunning families a little bit out of guilt that I didn't do more in May and June when I was grieving Sera's passing 🐶 so deeply. But I'm also juggling too many things this month so should know better than to compensate for chaos with more work.

Hahaha way to go, me. I put in my order for the 4th Lakota family today but I've been extra-exhausted since Thursday so only now realized that I sent the entire order to Wounded Knee instead of where it should go 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Thank goodness I was able to cancel all but 1 item and reorder in time.

This term is perfect! I'm not fully immunosuppressed but my immune system absolutely does not perform as normal (freaks out and falls over at the first contact with any germ) and it's a whole thing.

It's not really the wrong lesson IMO. There are lots of things they shouldn't do yet and that's just the plain truth. We tell our 3YO that it's not a safe choice for them yet but when they are older or bigger (whichever is more accurate) then it will be something they can do or try. They mostly take
