Here, it starts about a week before peaking on the 4th and then gradually fades for a week after. It really doesn't improve my opinions of mankind and it makes me feel bad for all of the terrified pets and wildlife.

This sort of thing is more common than people realize. I sometimes listen to the tower frequencies at LAX and VNY, there is all kinds of crazy stuff going on that the public knows nothing about I'm glad your pilot had practiced the touch n' go landing and that it all worked out well.

I once called animal control about relocating a duck family that had taken up residence in my pool, a location lacking the nutrition and shelter ducklings require. They said they would not help and suggested placing rocks and plants on the steps and in the shallow end to make them feel more at home.

Was your scan at a large hospital, or a small private facility? If the former, they generally have entire departments dedicated to financial aid. I'm sorry you're going through this, as well as the loss of your sweet dog, which I just learned of today. Hope things take a turn for the better, soon.

I had to hire an attorney some 20 years ago, when a hospital burned through my mother's AETNA lifetime cap in 6 months. He cleaned that mess up fast. Damn, I need quarterly MRIs & PET/CT scans until I'm cancer free for a few more years, I'd be broke if not for the ACA.

Just home from my CT/MRI/PET scans and bloodwork at City of Hope. Everything is still clean as can be, no trace of cancer to be found. The oncologist says it's "remarkable" how well I've responded to treatment.

I'm thinking I'm going to survive this thing.

The tubing would always snag on doorknobs and the like, I was happy to see the pump go. It was remarkable to see the oncology nurses wear hazmat gowns and masks while they handled a substance they were about to INJECT INTO MY BLOODSTREAM!! But the substance worked. Hope you're feeling well.
