Yes, it was five minutes long and he took no questions and outlined no plan to counter it. No one disputes that he can still give speeches, which is basically muscle memory for him after spending his entire adult life in politics. But America needs more than that to fight this fascist uprising.

But Biden’s never been good on his feet. He once called himself “a gaffe machine.” It’s true his debate skills have declined since 2008 when he crushed Paul Ryan & so deftly deflected Sarah Palin’s barbs, but I can remember Obama also looking like a deer in the headlights in 1st 2012 debate.
