I’ll say I misremembered but I’m not sure it makes much difference: A clear majority of Democrats say he should stay in the race, which is what matters for deciding the Democratic nominee.

He may believe it. And they may actually be telling him that. Or he may be lying to himself, whistling in the dark. I am unwilling to believe that he is just two faced lying. But he is no longer being completely honest, and Boy Howdy are the fascists going to exploit it.
