My favorite song from this album. I'm gonna explore more Bossa Nova vibe elements in one character in my new story that I desperately want to make a comic, Manga or animated. And I wanna use in the action, if that makes sense.

Always mountains to climb, and honestly, its mentally and physically exhausting. Ill never quit, and the support I’ve received from fellow authors, friends and family has been a light that has broken through the dark cloak of my anxiety. Writing has been a gift to me, and has changed my life.

It’s because even though I’m old enough to understand that I can do this, that conditioning is not only generational, but systemic, and tracks with deep anxiety that even if I write extremely well, that there will always be mountains to climb as I’m watching others take the trolly.

It’s because I was conditioned to believe that it wasn’t possible for someone who looks like me do something like this. The history of people who looked like me writing was always one or two books in the buuilding, if any at all.

I started writing Nov 1st, 2022. My first published story will be in SPACEFUNK! Next year, this past weekend i signed a contract for a novella anthology that’s slated for 2025, and I’ve been invited as a guest at a con next year as an author. I still don’t feel like an author and ill tell you why.

All of these people are freaking exhausting. Straight up joy and energy vampires, desperate to fill the unseasoned, boring lives they have. They spend time doing this y’all. TIME. That shit we can’t get back, never want to waste and hold dear in both emotional and physical context. TIME.
