I get it. I wish as much as anyone that Biden had decided like a year ago to open it up to new people, maybe see if AOC or someone great could float to the top. But at the same time I’m not confident at all that anyone else would have an indisputably BETTER shot against Trump. Risky either way. 🤷‍♂️

It truly isn’t about the DNC. Neither party runs challengers to incumbents who choose to run for re-election, they never have. It isn’t done. Here’s who ran against Trump in the 2020 Republican primary and Obama in the 2012 Democratic primary lol. This is just standard US Presidential politics.

They’re extremely accurate— not so much this far out from Election Day, but polling aggregates in the weeks and months immediately beforehand have been completely reliable and correct in every modern election.
