My story “The Clockwork Heart of Heaven” in the latest issue of Interzone #299 started out as a series of artwork labels without any context. I abandoned that idea and made the context even more insane than the paintings. Sequel “The Architects of Soft Calamity” almost done.

Place d’Armes in right off Jackson Square. It’s been several years since we’ve stayed there, but it looks the same whenever we walk by. There is a small pool in the courtyard. Get a Courtyard room overlooking the pool.
