More enthusiastic overcompliance with these anti-DEI laws. At this point, I can only conclude that many of the top "leaders" in these universities were simply waiting for an excuse to get rid of these student organizations, and now they have it.

Good luck. I was terrified for the first chemo. I met a lovely couple who kindly helped me stay calm. Turned out I had taught their son. Hope you have great pre-chemo drugs.

There have been good(-ish) *authoritarians*, but I can't think of any explicitly far-right/fasc types that worked out. The apocalyptic ideology of fascism is powered by perpetual crisis, which tends to drive it toward destruction.

Exactly. I read Project 2025 and was shocked to see how much of it was already being implemented on School Boards and City Halls across the country. We are behind the 8-ball on this and they now have immense power at the local and state levels.
