Tildes are now used for "flirty" voice mostly (e.g. ~oh my~), or just to denote wavering tone, at least... which is usually flirty.

Can we highlight the fact the first "example" is just anything pro-trans, which to them probably means anything including a trans, trans-coded, or gender-non-conforming character whatsoever? Probably anything queer whatsoever? Including existing childrens' media most likely.

Fair enough. I do not want any of those things. I just want my computer to do the things that I need a computer to do, and not do things I do not want it to do, and I hate that the three big computer companies would rather make garbage generators, spy on us, and try to sell us things we don't need.

I don't want a smart home, I don't even have a smart phone, I miss when things didn't need to be connected to the internet to work, including computers. The only time I want to connect to the internet... is when I want to use the internet!

I just want to be able to buy games, software, and media that don't need to be always online to use. I miss when Windows came with a bunch of useful stuff as standard. Also solitaire. I want CD/DVD/bluray drives to be standard again. I want a decent digital camera. I MISS LANDLINES AND PHONEBOOTHS!

I mean, I actually like the colours... I tried to explain the various different flags as "protest flags" to my mother recently, comparing them to things like the suffragette ribbons (I didn't realise those in particular had been appropriated by farts at the time) but "war flag" is far more powerful.
