At 4:41pm June 8th, I think it was directly overhead, but I'm not certain now. It was too far from the Sun to have been Betelgeuse, which I would have blinded myself from the glare attempting to see at this time of year.

It was red when I first saw it, but was white while I was taking photos. I'd been having trouble keeping my phone charged because the charge port was busted. I took these four photos before my battery died. It turned red again before disappearing.

I saw Jelly's Last Jam last night at the Pasadena Playhouse. It was incredible. I wish I had purchased an earlier ticket so I could get an opportunity to see it again. Good seats were selling quickly, so I should have purchased a ticket during the week and instead of looking for weekend tickets.
