every time i have had occasion to shout "oh no, frig!! my money!!" i have not enjoyed it. to be quite honest, i would appreciate it if i never again had a situation in which i felt compelled to shout "oh no, frig!! my money!!"

i think water got inside it, completing the circuit, which is why it was running constantly. i put it out in the sun to dry and it eventually stopped, so now i'm recharging it and i'm gonna tape up the opening that let water in. thank you for the suggestion!

the marketing says a charge lasts 14 days, but i have to assume that's with normal use, 3x every 24 hours. So at this rate I believe I can reasonably expect it to die after 42 cycles: at 2 minutes each, that's 1.5 hours from now

i bought one of those vibrating toothbrushes a few years ago, and today it just started vibrating for a few minutes, taking a 5 second break, and then doing it again. the battery isn't removable so i just have to live with The World's Loudest Toothbrush today

one teaspoon of MASS is less deadly, but the trick with a teaspoon of volume is it would catastrophically decompress. that's how you make things extra deadly: make sure the word "catastrophically" can be slid in there somewhere
