Yeah, but from the pictures it looks absolutely horrifying, the walls and curtains and furniture all in the same chintz floral pattern so they all blend together into a weird not-camo camo-effect, it can't be pleasant to live in. Unless Rishi's wife spent her own money to fix that?

Also, ventilation and filtration help with so MANY other things! Other viruses, allergens, air pollution in general, high carbon dioxide levels from small rooms with lots of people, just tons of things we don't want to breathe. It's stunning that no one has done anything about this.

It's not as tittilating as, for example, stories like my friend who found out that her husband had lied about why he "couldn't" come to her mother's funeral by going through the data dump. The coverage was very focused on the ones who actually met women and what exactly they did, in prurient ways.

Thanks! Wishing you good luck. Also FYI, be careful about how you do it- the only time I went to a place that doesn't do crazy colored hair all the time, they overbleached so much that everything they had done shattered and fell off. Fortunately, it was only the bottom half, so I still had hair!

I submit that hell is attempting to talk your elderly parent remotely through installing an update on their computer. Bonus points if once the phone is forward facing, they only point it at the monitor frame & not the screen, & forget what left, right, & up mean. The phone tree is merely purgatory.

I mean, growing up in NY I grouped him with Paul Bunyan, John Henry, Molly Pitcher, and Johnny Appleseed, as 'American folklore, possibly real', because given how/what we learned about them I was skeptical. So I can believe that a UK person heard the song and thought 'myth'.

I mean, Sasha Dhawan wore Jodie's outfit IN THE SAME EPISODE and as I recall, no one said a thing about it. To say DT couldn't wear that outfit for five minutes without looking too girly was honestly an unexpected and unwelcome bit of misogyny from RTD.

A temperature & humidity controlled library (2 stories with a mezzanine & ladders) to hold my new massive collection of cool books, both true antiques & modern art bindings. Bonus if someone can figure out how to include a fireplace to sit next to while I read without imacting the climate controls!

Nope. I quit FB, don't do Mastadon (too big a learning curve), will never do Threads, and I only use Instagram for artists and people who do visual stuff. Although it's getting worse and worse at showing me people I follow, so I'm really hoping for a replacement soon!

I think they're actually on newer planes, I've had several of them recently and hadn't had many for years before that. Possibly they want to prevent you making use of that empty seat next to you to be more comfortable by making you pay them for more space?

Fucking Gary did us in London, too, that guy gets around. He wired one switch so it blew the whole house whenever flipped, ran exposed live wires to power the burglar-alarm-that-fell-off-a-truck, & hid our internal stopcock so well that it took 4 hours and 3 plumbers to find it when the main burst.

That's the least unbelievable part, given the number of friends I have who have had to wear maternity belts or belly bands or the like: a set of stays or even an actual pregnancy corset would essentially do the same. ALL the rest is of course insanity, and badly researched insanity at that.
