I read that last night. The only sourcing on the claims was the original report from tortoise. The only part that even purported to be fresh reporting was the denial. Presumably, somebody at RS contacted his reps to verify the denial so they could run a story quickly.

I don’t think horror is easy to make, but it can be cheap to make. A lot of the best horror never shows you the scary thing, letting it lurk larger than life in your imagination. Also, it lets you turn having no budget for lighting into a stylistic choice.

There were articles YEARS ago about how he had been planning on selling off WBD quickly after the merger was completed, but he hadn’t bothered to consider that there aren’t very many companies big enough to acquire something that size. He isn’t actually all that bright and it’s not subtle.

I had an MCO TSA agent lecture me about how he had to swab by switch because even though he recognized what it was on the X-ray, if he didn’t verify it wasn’t made of explosives, terrorists would invent a bomb with the same x-ray profile as a switch.

Movies separate out “story by” and “written by” credits, for one thing. Rewrites may or may not earn you a credit, depending on the extent of it. If the credit says “Written by A & B”, they cowrote it, but if it says “A and B” then B significantly rewrote A’s screenplay.
