I kept telling him, he was supposed to *destroy* the Sith, and what does he do? He goes and joins them instead!

I spent five minutes ugly-laughing myself almost sick because I decided this was the catchphrase of Captain "Spank" Hardbottom, of the proud Starfleet vessel U.S.S Ketamine. I might need to go to bed.

I remember watching the DS9 documentary and part of it is the old writing team getting together to write a hypothetical first episode of a revival season and I am legitimately sorry there's no chance of ever actually seeing it for real. Especially now that we've lost Auberjonois and Eisenberg.

And I will never forget the way the wife turned to him and said "WHAT?!" it was complete news to her their marriage was depending on this and I don't think at that point there was any hope of it surviving.

Watched a British show about B&Bs in the country, but the husband kept fucking off to do farm work and not help his wife run the business they both purchased together, and at one point during an interview said "well if it doesn't work out we'll call it a day and go our separate ways" like divorce

You know, as someone who grew up on Street Fighter 2, there is still a part of me that reflexively wants to call the Hadouken guy "Raioo"

Donald Sutherland did many things, but he has the distinction of doing a Simpsons line read that will be burned into my memory forever.

The film version of The Color Out Of Space has a rather explicit shout-out to The Thing at one point, and otherwise I think would be up your alley. It's a family on an isolated farmstead though, not a bunch of working class people.

One of the things I find low-key stressful about the show and where it may be going is in season two we've been introduced to John Henry Irons, Hank Henshaw, and I will eat my hat if Nemesis Omega isn't the Eradicator. That's (possibly) three of the four imposter Supermen from Death and Return.

The first half of The Bride's fight with O-Ren in Part 1 (with Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood as the soundtrack) lives rent free in my head for how smooth Lucy Liu is.

Yeah, starting the movie by killing off the entire human cast of the first movie except for Cindel sure was a choice, for what I think was meant to be a fill aimed at younger viewers? XD

Source: I may have watched Ewoks II: The Battle For Endor more times than was necessary as a child. Also, Wilford Brimley was there.

In the second movie, Ewoks II: The Battle For Endor, the evil King Tarak is advised by a woman named Charal, who uses a ruby ring to transform into a raven (and ends the movie trapped in this form). The EU later retconned her into being a Nightsister, but the movie gives no explanation for her. XD

I'm less concerned about the Susan Twist twist and more if the last two episodes will explain anything-ANYTHING-about what the hell was going in 73 Yards. It feels like there was just too much being dangled in front of us for a one-off mystery with no answer episode.

huh. somehow I'd missed she has a scar over the tat. I'll have to go back and take a look, but, damn. Is RB meant to be like an alternate universe thing to LB or a sequel? I've genuinely been unclear on that, especially since a few of the LB love interests were potential bonus routes.

“John Wick” (2014) is highly aestheticized emotional trauma porn that happens to have some of the best action sequences ever put to film, interspersed at regular intervals. “John Wick: Chapter 4” (2023), on the other hand, is an action masterpiece that posits if being a wife guy was a super power.

Teru's is a solid-runner up, and I *do* think her epilogue is probably the best-written of the bunch. I was actually a bit disappointed to see her RB design keeps the tattoo after removing it was such a big part of her character development in LB.

I think my three top favourite routes ended up being Yuki, Hyojin, and Akane. Hyojin probably would have been #1 but childhood friend romances, especially of the unrequited/forgotten form hit me where I live, specifically. it's why Silas remains my favourite Corrin romance. XD

oh, fucking gross. I got dogpiled on Twitter once because I said on a thread that one of the reasons I liked CF so much was because of the narrative weight in Byleth having to choose Edelgard again that wasn't present in the other routes. They never could stay in their line, even when we tried to.

one of my favorite Behind The Scenes movie facts is: in Say Anything's boombox-held-aloft scene, Cusack, who was big into Fishbone, was playing Fishbone's "Bonin In The Boneyard" and Cameron Crowe overdubbed it bc he was like "yeah it didn't come off as romantic so much as Psychotic Fishbone Fan"

Still thinking about They Live. Truly a movie depicting a Type of Guy which doesn’t exist anymore: someone with a basically reactionary mindset who longs for the True America but who also thinks climate change might be a problem and that killing cops is rad as fuck
