The rumbling cost of AI server cities, supporting the latest Tech boom has been forgotten amidst growing evidence of massive Climate damage from these behemoths of electrical and financial greed.
Let's not forget that the human brain (that "AI is going to replace") functions on about 100w per hour.

In #Sheffield, as in other UK cities, there are electronic Road signs..illuminated nuggets of Mayoral daily wisdom, handed out to hapless motorists.
Don't drink and drive
Wear seatbelts
Now it's "is your car fit for the road"
My question to #OliverCoppard is
"Are your roads fit for my car?"

βStarmer has got to get his act together over the EU. Not in his lifetime? In 1988, Chancellor Helmut Kohl said that he did not expect German unification in his lifetime. Two years later, Germany was reunified.β #Brexit #BrexitDisaster www.theguardian.com/business/art...

I bought a new second hand phone and cheap monthly SIM..and with a second email address and new name I started again. But in the end it was just as boring and frustrating as before and Musk is vile. So I've scrapped it and came here.

Funny that
"you can only vote in a democracy for things that other people say you should vote for"
Well done for standing up for something you believe in.
PR will enable everyone to feel engaged & then it'll be up to the so called politicians to sort out who does what with whom for our benefit π€

If it doesn't get cut, Great British Energy actually gets done and attempting to please most of the people most of time doesn't cloud the reality of the situation.

Its my hope, now the dust has settled, that given the massive support for Reform. That one J Corbyn, having kept his powder dry in the run up (Unlike the cancer Farage) will start a truly socialist party.
Sadly it seems the only socialist party is the Libdems....

This was the precise moment that encapsulated Conservative hubris, uncouthness, and entitlement in UK Parliament and began the very deserving decline.

Keir Starmer has a wonderful opportunity to change the conversation around Brexit in the four to five years ahead. I discuss one approach, based on a public enquiry into Russian interference, that would create massive optionality when it comes to the UK rejoining the EU. Check it out after the jump!

Wonβt have Liz Truss to mock any more. A terrible loss to comedy.
Her humiliation is now complete.
She did look βheavily medicatedβ this morning. I hope people are checking on her.

We need PR so that everyone can have a say and feel engaged...Labour got the same vote as 2019. Reform got more than the Libdems but far fewer seats.....FPTP is shite...but when all is said and done PR will throw up some unpalatable people into HOC, Yes I know we had many of those before.......
