Hey, update time! Had the ct done and it turns out the top of my tibia fractured again and I have surgery at the end of month to “squish it together and tighten those screws.” Looks like me and the wheelchair will not be parting company any time soon.

I have both a sever learning disability and ADHD. But when I was coming up thru the system girls didn’t have ADD, I just wasn’t trying hard enough. Funny enough that was also the response to my learning disability that had been documented since 6th grade.

One of the pivotal moments in my own fabric arts journey was hand knitting a pair of socks. I, for the first time, appreciated why socks were a Christmas gift. Was difficult, took forever, and I have never looked at them the same way again.

So cool! One of the weirdest things I discovered was that it was common to teach dyslexic students Ancient Greek because it is just pictographic enough to not trigger dyslexia after I had started learning Greek. Attic Greek was the easiest language I picked up and still prefer to write notes in.

I am waiting for a CT scan to see if my surgery leg has managed to rebreak or if I have a bone infection. Hoping I don’t lose my new job because of being back on bed rest by doctors orders. Could definitely use some well wishes.

In Greek myth Pasphae cursed her husband Minos to cum spiders and centipede cause he was a skank. One of the women he wanted to sex but not kill came up with the first condom in response. So they worked out that part. I just assumed he decided he liked it.
