There is a Blackbird that does the most annoying sound. Over and over again, for weeks. It is just a two tone whistle (think mobile phone). It sings "normal" too It really grates my ears and I can't stop noticing it and I love blackbirds. 😤🤯🙉🙉🙉 🎺🎺

They are usually "visiting" during migration. Then we can't have the hens loose in the garden. But at least they don't kill all Goshawks are very common here

All at night. And they are pretty safely locked in but the Marten chewed through the netting above the yard at night. First time ever. Climbed in and carried each out. Badger dug himself into a smaller cage and was lucky to bend the door open (only male chicks so ok 🙄). Well I hope they enjoyed them

I've been there! Beautiful place. Kids (small then) stuffed themselves with mulberries from a tree in the cathedral grounds. It was quite clear from their purple faces and hands what they (we 🤫) had done. I must find my old photos from there
