Lot of the holistic stuff works the same way. There's a lot of built up belief behind it powering it but it's the users thoughts and mindset that determine how well that comes through. Hoping I don't sound too off the wall here.

One thing is try and establish the belief before you start. If you go in unsure it's going to work, that can really mess up the effect. Half of the work is truly believing it will help.

Actually, I just rechecked. You can see when Adam starts up the music, there's a line on the wall behind him. His side is the old wallpaper and all, the other is still the grey blue with dim lighting. =)

Nah, if you watch, they gave the Maitlands back a room in their original style. But the kitchen is still all weird, and the last scene with the Dietz's is her freaking the dude out with the Beetlejuice snake head sculpture..
