I'm a light sleeper, all the doors that lead indoors squeak loud enough to raise the dead because I intentionally don't oil them, and I'm not RELYING on racking the shotgun to scare them off. Like you said, that's fuddlore. If that doesn't do it, I'm already lining up the shot on them within <3s.

I don't like the idea of killing, but if that's what it comes to, I will not hesitate to pull the trigger. Cops won't get here fast enough, I know that much.

the best way to win a fight is to not fight fairly, and giving away one's position is a good way to get ventilated if you dont have a gun staged correctly.
