I think it's cute that John Roberts doesn't think Trump will use threats of prosecuting Thomas and Alito for corruption in order to extract whatever future ruling he wants from the SCOTUS in the off chance that court every tries to constrain him in the future.

Well, the former guy is far too much of a blunt instrument for *that* level of subtlety. He wouldn’t threaten prosecution. He’d threaten explicit state violence.
