God knows. I’m with you though… Everything seems mega processed these days. And the sound is ALWAYS crap as they expect you’ll buy a sound bar. Actually theres my tip. Cheaper telly, spend difference on sound bar.

I don’t want to offer solutions where there are none but round here there are some areas people USED to view as shitty but are much less so now because they’re gradually being filled up with professionals priced out of other areas. Anywhere like that?

At the same time there’s part of me that doesn’t understand why we have such an antipathy to it when most of social-democratic Europe have always had them. And we end up with some weird proxy of having to use driving licences/passports/two utility bills for everything.

Absolutely beats me why he was part of the Labour party. I don’t particularly mean it as an insult but his whole world view is Thatcherite (and on some level he thinks it’ll work out better for the plebs). I can only think that he wanted to be loved too much to be a Tory.
