Just read an article about how Gen Z is growing to hate their ad-riddle online life and trying to find ways to get away from it because spam and endless unwanted distractions and bad AI searches that make it harder to find the results they want are ruining their main form of communication.

What you really need to understand about the World Wide Web in 1994, is that it didn't spy on you. Most websites you visit today will be sending information about where you came from, what you are looking at, and what you were looking at earlier, to any number of other entities without telling you.
