I was furious The Jam broke up and will go to my grave mad about how Weller handled it in particular but I think SC is a better next step than what basically becomes Weller just doing mod stuff solo and with much longer songs.

i do agree with this, style council was at least really genuinely interesting and creative, i just can’t get into them, but he’s been mostly resting on his rep since then
