Athene gets a cameo role in the scene as Diomedes' charioteer, warning him against being too ready to attack the gods. Maybe that's the scene depicted here? Unfortunately, my Greek isn't up to reading who's who!

Aphrodite flees the battlefield, but Diomedes is determined to kill Aeneas, and rushes forward. Apollo steps in and blocks Diomedes, who continues to attack. Apollo parries three spear thrusts, before warning Diomedes, "Think, Diomedes, think. Can you defeat a God?" Diomedes backs off at last. 2/2

There's a scene in the Iliad where Aeneas is fighting Diomedes (of the loud war cry) and is struck unconscious. His mother, Aphrodite, swoops in to rescue him, but Diomedes, in his battle frenzy, wounds her in the hand and pursues her. Aphrodite drops Aeneas. 1/2
