I think that's harsh. I put this interaction down to a difference in communication styles and perspectives. It's not so much politeness as an active effort from me to try to understand where someone is coming from and engage in good faith.

Yes but they weren't interested in that discussion. I followed it for the same reason but it was just a soapbox for their own assumptions and opinions with zero interest in actually engaging. For the record, maximums probs self regulate...
