If such a creature as Trump - with such power to make filthy and corrupt and enshittify and confuse any institution or person - existed in the Star Trek universe, it would have some mythical name and the episode would end with the Federation launching a beacon warning all starships to stay far away.

There's a moment in the beginning of "Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home" when the crew receives a message to "Save yourselves. Avoid the planet Earth at all costs." I wish fixing things was as simple as time-traveling, sneaking into nuclear wessels, and kidnapping a couple of whales.
