Gotta agree with all of the above, LED's and WLF's what wrong with a needle and a viewfinder. I've been tempted by the Nikon F2 SB for a long time, supposedly the best F2 that still takes all the old lenses, but that LED keeps the money in my pocket.

Yep I'm in the same ballpark usage wise, just enough to keep my hand in, and I've enough frozen to keep me going for a couple of years or so at that rate, so I can worry about it later on 👍

Good on you Graham. I think a digital file still contains a lot of the properties of a photograph, but when we think of the photograph I think we do picture in our minds something that we can hold in our hands. Something that will last and make its own way through time.

So I wore out the locking mechanism on my old macro rail, not bad it was very cheap and must have lasted about 8 years. Time for a new one, this Neewer seems a lot tighter with greater levels of precision in its movement.
