If you're thinking Canada? This is purely anecdotal, but I travel all over the world for my job and Canada is the only country that aggressively questions me as to why I'm in Canada doing journalism and insists I should be doing it in America.
So maybe they're not that keen on us just showing up.
My first time in Canada last month: no issues getting in, on the way home, holy maple syrup, I got the 3rd degree and got held inside a special customs office. Why? They never told me any reason. 🍁
My entry into Canada experience is always like "We don't care if you're a terrorist, as long as you aren't coming to our country to do a job a Canadian could do."
