some observations: - ppl tend to think of Adventure Time as a stoner cartoon - ppl are often surprised that Adventure Time has more than 5 seasons let alone 10 - ppl also often say they stopped watching the show bc it developed too much plot - the show gets really plot heavy around season 6

my mother sold me for luxury to cover her own pain of never having enough. she was convinced that my sacrifice was for good because it could give me everything i wished for. but how could my pain pay for death and a mother who loved me? how can forgiveness undo my sacrifice?

where is there space for those who can't fathom a reality where motherhood means sacrifice? for us who are not hoodwinked by those who tell us that our pain is harbored in our spite and the only way to be free of it is to be convinced that this is what maternity is supposed to be?

please, there has to be somewhere people like me gather, who don't try to convince each other that our mothers are girls trying to make it just like us or that they did their best to keep their pain to themselves so we wouldn't hurt. where is the support for people with hateful, ruthless mothers?

i am so happy for you people who have space in your heart and lives to understand and forgive your mothers but that will ever be me. if refusing to accept the pain she put me through just because she was in pain too makes me a bad person in your eyes, so be it. some monsters dont deserve redemption.
