Sure, most supplements are scams, so that doesn't surprise me.
I was referring to the fact that people don't declaw their cats as much anymore and it's a lot more common to see cat trees and scratching posts in someone's house. More enrichment + less mutilation = happier cats

I have no proof, but I feel like people like Jackson Galaxy have helped a lot over the past decade or so.
If you treat a cat like a dog, it makes sense that both parties end up miserable and the poor cat is always hiding under the bed.

IMO, asking questions is one of the best things an editor can do.
I can't help the story be the best version of itself unless I fully understand the author's goals for the story.

There was. Cornrows, dreadlocks, and baggy jeans in all. I might still have it in a dusty box somewhere. 🙃

It always baffles me that it never occurs to these "experts" to just, you know, ask women who've survived a suicide attempt why they did it
Lol, sorry, I forgot women aren't people

I assume the goal here is that social media companies will be so scared about getting sued into oblivion if a kid lies about their age (so: an inevitability), they'll start requiring age verification upfront
what could go wrong

I agree that their messaging is trash and I also worry that many Black people have always been lowercase c conservative and Trump's rise just made it more acceptable to admit it. At least that's how it looks based on my own family. Lots of "well I'm not poor, so why should I care" talk

Here's a (temporary) solution! I've tried it myself and my computer hasn't blown up yet, but you might still have to do it after every update.

My 12-year-old niece does this to my mom and it's hilarious. I understand why old school parents think it's disrespectful, but I've also always felt like adults tend to take themselves too seriously and context makes it clear we're just having fun

So much of (good) editing is just asking questions and using the answers to shape your feedback.
I don't know how an AI would ever meaningfully replicate that rapport, and most writers resent the editing process when it's not present.
