RESULT: In yesterday's Dem primaries in New Mexico, progressives ousted 3 of the incumbent Dem lawmakers who had voted against a bill to mandate paid family and medical leave. The bill had failed by a single vote.
Another striking result in New Mexico: Senator Daniel Ivey-Soto, an atypical figure who's angered progressives in various ways over the year (he shows up in this 2022 article I wrote: boltsmag.org/voting-right...) also lost by a large margin to a WFP-backed candidate.
