Running theme in my life is how I am cursed when it comes to ladders. I was banned from using our extension ladder by my kids after I broke my wrist in six places trying to fold it up. Now it's the stepladder and it's because someone put it on my foot and started climbing.

The noise canceling headphones are a wonder tonight, until the folks in the street RATTLED MY WINDOWS. Cats are hiding in the basement with BirdTV blaring. The three folks in the house that have to be at work at 0530 are all in earmuffs.

Today's petty victory was that I got to send an email that asked for a charge code. "My boss said that I can do your job, but only if I can charge my time to your project for my labor. BTW, that's 8 hours at $$$" So far, no response.

Oh and my cats are losing their insurance 1 August.

My kid made her teacher tear up talking about MicroMuse's passion in her classes last night at awards So proud of my kid. I am so happy she feels free to express herself like that at school, and that she let me get a glimpse of it last night.

In a different article (www.cbsnews.com/news/target-...), they talk about a regional grocery chain that cut prices on their store-brand items.

What they *don't* mention is the regional nearly doubled most of their non-generics in 22. Right now a 12-pack of Coke there - $10.49; Target $7.49

I've gotten no less than six texts this weekend on my work mobile asking the same question about a house the previous owner of the number had. Always for the same guy and address. I've had this phone number for 9.5 years (At least I got his grandma to stop calling me in 2015)
