Also my sense is that many successful liberal people correctly accept the concept of structural racism but otherwise buy into the American dream of hard work leading to success/next generation being better off etc. - which leads to ppl not taking labor/economic injustice as seriously as they might.

It also leads to some very serious outrage when then try to reconcile their own achievements with the barriers to entry others face in their own profession.

I agree with this, and also think there’s a lot of acceptance of both “you’re actually hurting the people you want to help” type arguments, and arguments that position labor as an impediment to racial justice
