Yes, it's this location (for now). It was either do this or close completely while they made sure every single book on the shelves didn't contain anything that didn't comply with a vague new state law.

Libsci student here. Children are allowed in ID libraries… provided that the library contain no material that mentions (iirc) sexual or scatalogical content. So as long as the library purges all adult reading with a sex or defecation scene, kids are fine. If they can’t/won’t they have to ban kids

the scariest part to me is the probability that all this information is being logged in a database somewhere so the state can track who lets their parents go to the 'dirty' libraries. ugh. and that's on a heap of scary other things to begin with.

The new Republican-instituted library laws in Idaho are forcing this kind of preemptive “safeguards”, so that freak right-wingers are less able to sue the library/librarians if a kid sees a “woke” or “sexual” book.
