Where do you think the money made from ad revenues go to or money from sponsorships is pulled from? They have bank accounts, assets, and employees that are within US jurisdiction or treaties. And Europe is doing just fine enforcing data privacy laws on TikTok.

I’d be just fine with strangling bytedance finances. But since they are incorporated as a US company people here would argue that’s a first amendment violation too. For any other foreign business it would be fine, but since they stream meatloaf videos suddenly they are supposed to be untouchable.
