Every 8 years or so, this idea to do a broader alt music site stirs in my consciousness. Trouble is, it's impossible to sustain without writing staff, whose work is valuable, but I don't like advertising, and I'm not independently wealthy. And if it got real popular, it would suck to operate.

If I remember correctly, the retail price of the 2xCD version of The Fragile in the US was $29.99, on sale on the first week of its release for $24.99 I remember a copy of Things Falling Apart on vinyl sitting on the shelf at my local indie music shop $7.99 - but I didn't have room for that.

Jason Patterson registered the domain name nin.net 30 years ago, where he hosted one of the earliest music fan sites on the internet. Nine Inch Nails had an unusually large fan presence on the early internet.

Five years after nin.net launched, an official website debuted at nin.com

Almost four years ago, I had the idea to carefully recreate this press sheet and do a run of a couple hundred so all you weirdos like me could have a copy without spending excessive amounts of money. It's been sitting on my hard drive ever since, but I'm going to make it happen in Q1 2024.
