Imagine how old I felt cursing out the bad cell reception as I was trying to text my wife a photo of the kids’ t-shirts to ask what color our niece would want, and her responding she couldn’t tell what the colors were because of the blacklight lighting.

For the uninitiated, Cyberdog is an underground rave clothing/accessories store that has existed in its own remarkably unchanged aesthetic of extremely “cyber 1999” for 30 years. Amazing. I, too, was thrilled to discover it was still there and thriving. First came across it maybe 25 years ago, walking in without a clue and wondering where in the fuck I had been teleported to.

Had a rare day off to just wander around London aimlessly. Took in some street art inspo off Brick Lane, discovered a tiny book shop inside a canal boat, and finally reached the android guardians who stand at the hallowed gates of cybergoth Valhalla.

For sure, and also because it looks EXACTLY as it does in film, like there’s no stuff they have to take down or re-create or change the background, it’s just sitting there exactly like this.

Had to stop and take a photo of this extremely “Jack The Ripper” alley I walked past in London, only to then discover it’s the *actual* street where Jack The Ripper’s second victim was found. Pleased to report that my Goth Sense is still sharp, folks. 🔪⚰️
