The Supreme Court ended democracy, so now, rather than hand power to the GOP take over, I expect Joe Biden, with absolute immunity, to seize power and lock up political prisoners at GTMO. That’s what’s coming with GOP rule if he doesn’t.

Most of us understand the terrifying implications of yesterday's SCOTUS ruling. But the more I think about it, what's at the heart of the majority's ruling is for the president to have broad powers to take whatever means deemed necessary to keep America as white as possible for as long as possible.

"envy of an absolute monarch" Can't be stressed enough that the new power of the president vis a vis citizens is analogous to the power of a slave owner over slaves. Anyone he decides to punish cannot effectively resist his power to abuse, punish or kill; cannot appeal to the courts for protection.
