For me (a Jew), "from the river to the sea" isn't 1/10 (make it 1/100) as offensive as this false equivalency. One statement might, if you squint at it the right way, express a desire to eliminate Israel as an ethno-state. The other cynically uses a tragedy to make a cheap reactionary point.
