You do not, however, need any understanding to rearrange text non-sensically and nonetheless sound convincing to someone with a poor understanding of your subject matter, because sounding convincing to a non-expert can be a confidence trick accomplished without providing information.

No, you don't. You just have to know that some words are more likely to follow a particular word than others. That's it. That is *precisely* how autocomplete works, and autocomplete has no understanding of language nor intelligence. It just plays the odds.
